NEW STORE! Geraldton Extra Foods

There an excited crowd waiting as we opened our new 25,000 square foot Extra Foods store in Geraldton, Ontario on August 2nd, 2006. Mayor Micheal Powers expressed the town’s appreciation for the investment in the community. Store Manager Pat Rotmark delivered a welcoming speech to the crowd and made a donation to the Geraldton Regional Hospital on behalf of Extra Foods. This store is a new model Extra Foods – smaller than our other new stores to fit this community but still with all the great products and services our customers need and want.

NEW STORE! Drumheller Extra Foods

Our new model Extra Foods made a great impression in Drumheller when we opened on November 24th, 2005. The 42,000 square foot store includes the new deli floor

plan, bakery, GM and apparel department, photo lab and floral department. Many eager shoppers arrived to participate in the opening ceremony. Store Manager Steve McKay presented a donation to the Salvation Army Food Bank on behalf of Extra Foods. Mayor Paul Aiscough officially cut the ribbon. Steve made a welcoming speech and with a great smile, he invited the customers to join us on our first day of business.

NEW STORE! Surrey Extra Foods

The employees of the Surrey Extra Foods worked right to the last minute to successfully open its doors on November 18th, 2005. Mayor Doug McCallum was on hand to cut the ribbon and Steve Bran made a presentation to the Surrey Food Bank Society on behalf of Extra Foods. The new 42,000 square foot store showcases the innovation and teamwork of our employees to drive our business
